China Star Buffet in Beaumont

Good food! decent service! Clean! fresh food! Possible new place to come on the reg.

OK, so it wasn't really bad, but you would be better off trying to make your own Chinese food at home because that's what this seemed like. Don't get me wrong, the dumplings were good, great even, but the other items were just not to my liking.

Omg I appreciate this kind of business upon entering the establishment if your not already equiped with mask and gloves you must purchase them..which i appreciated the most..no other buffet offered this service..and we are talking about an establishment dealing consumers coming and going all day..and touching touching touching things..so i give them 5 stars way to make a safe come back..

Not much Sushi to choose from, so if you're a Sushi connoisseur, this might not be your place. 5 on the friendly, hospitable staff. I wish i got waitress and Hostess names, they need a raise for they're great service. 5 on cleanliness. 5 on buffet selection. Egg rolls were best ive eaten.

The food did not have much flavor, no salt on anything. I don't care much for salt, but sometimes you need it. The employees were friendly, the atmosphere was lacking. Not worth a second visit.

The food wasn’t good at all and it was extremely over priced. They charged us $5 for drinks. Extremely disappointed in this place, definitely would not recommend this place to anyone except someone I do not like and I will never be returning to this place!

Always a good place to have lunch! I can't remember our waitress's name but she is a very good and friendly waitress

It's open on Christmas. Fair, buffet, sweet waitress.

Excellent food & service. A little of everything for everyone.

Large bar, good service and reasonably priced. The food tasted good too. However, the only reason I couldn't give it 5 ☆'s is I found the salad bar was very limited with toppings for a salad. That's the only thing I found wrong with it.

Best Chinese buffet in the area. Great service, clean establishment, and good prices.

Extremely dark. Makes you wonder what they don't want you to see. Dirty plates on the clean plate stack.

It was clean, the food was very fresh. We had a very nice evening there.

The food here was amazing, employees were friendly and understanding. I highly recommend the General TSO here, Place was humongous with a even bigger buffet. The environment there was looking really great, the waterfall by the entrance all the way to the neat looking Steak and Hibachi grill. Me and my family were extremely pleased here, I'm sure you and your friends or family will be pleased as well.

Friendly staff, great foods. They even provide masks and glove for your safety

Food is great as always.The ice cream machine works.The waitress..did not clear the table as we ate..(buffet plates)😔The bathrooms need some attention (renovation).No problem with the food at all.

It's an awesome place to eat. Very cheap for three of us it was only $40 and they have everything. The only thing I wouldn't get the steaks r get him to cook anything on the grill because the steaks u could taste the rust on them from the grill not being cleaned. The sushi is fresh and looks nice. They've also got a huge selection of different rice seafood rolls. They were changing the food out as soon as it needed it. Would go back

Its good but they charge by the height not age. I have really tall young kids.

Great variety for price. Evening is when they have more seafood. People are courteous and constantly keeping buffets items filled and hot.

I love it. if I'm in a hurry I stick to the buffet. but they also have a hibachi/Mongolian type grill and lots of sushi.

Food was fresh when I got there workers was continuously checking and replacing food the flavor of the jalapeno chicken is phenomenal the gentleman at the Hibachi was extremely eager to please my particular needs lots of healthy options and indulgent ones as well the sushi chef also was able to prepare me fresh sushi by request another perk we love this restaurant

I have always received excellent service here. I love the steak bar they have set up. Since I am keto, I am limited in what I can have so this makes eating here great.

Big all you can eat buffet. Good food.

Food was horrible never less everything was stale . Granted the waitress seems nice 🙄 but the food that we couldn't even eat it and so paid over price for that's what's bad. ☠️

If I could give it 0 stars I would. They do not go by age to pay. They go by height which my 11 year old daughter is 5'3" and she ate less than my 10 year old daughter. Which the web site states they go by age but when you get in aparenty they go my height which is not fair for a child. It wasnt about the money but they didn't want to allow me to talk to a manager at first until I insisted. When she came up she tried to tell me they are the new china star not the old one which the web site refects. Which if thats the case they need to fix it online!

Very clean. Buffett is always loaded. The grill is quick. All in all I have nothing to complain about. Most important FOOD IS AWESOME.

I would give it five stars but they need to clean there grill for the steaks and dishes you get them to cook in front of you. For three people it was only $44.00. the food was being changed out very quickly and often. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The bathrooms needed some cleaning the floors were dirty paper towels just on the counter not even in the holder so they were all wet and it stunk. I would go back just don't use the restroom 😂.

It was the first time for my wife and I to come here since we aren't locals. Overall the experience was favorable. The buffet was abundant and they kept diligence to ensure the food was always full. There were a couple of items that seemed stale and should have been changed out, but all in all it was enjoyable. The wait staff was very attentive and my glass was never empty. Will likely return when we are in the area again.

Food was horrible. Tasted like it was sitting out for days. Tasted like rubber. Wouldn't go back if it was the last place to go.

Pleasant place...but food was not really good....it was 1pm and it tasted as though it has been there all day from yesterday....couldn't even eat what was in my plate...sushi was good

There is plenty of food, but the food choice that I ate didn't seem to be cooked properly.The staff is very pleasant & nice to talk to.The general appearance of the eating area is pretty clean. The soft drinks have the proper carbonation.The staff is constantly refilling the food & cleaning the food area.The lighting is a bit dark, but you can still see your food.The men's & women's restroom is in need of a good cleaning & better lighting.There are more English speaking staff at this location than other buffets of this nature, which is refreshing. The decor is nice, but lends itself to slightly imitate a Mexican restaurant.

Loved the selection and the kind waitstaff. Wonderful place. I will return.

I would give a zero star if possible. Everything was from frozen. Even the sushi! Everything tasted off or rancid. Definitely will not be back.

I always loved China star I get my food to go they have so many varieties that you can choose from especially in seafood
